At First Sight
The majestic Castle of Montclar stands out the town that has the same name, in the region of Urgell. The Castle was built over the remainders of an ancient Roman tower, and shows an elegant architecture of the Catalan renaissance, that dates from the XVI and XVII centuries. It has currently been restored.
The main charm of this Castle (of beautiful square base) is the ampleness of its halls, the great staircase that leads to the noble floor… without forgetting the close attention paid to its exterior aspect and architecture. Visiting the castle we will find different rooms, such as: the music hall, the library, the dinning room, the lords' bedroom, the cellar, the prison… and countless details that will strongly draw our attention.
